2022 Call for Nominations to Nordiq Alberta Board of Directors

Nordiq Alberta is seeking individuals who are passionate for the sport of nordic skiing and are interested in joining the Nordiq Alberta Board of Directors.  As per our current bylaws, the following positions are up for election: 1 Director at large and the Athlete Representative*. Board members will be elected at the Annual General Meeting on June 25, 2022 for a two-year term.

Candidates with experience in Policy/Governance, Fundraising/Grant writing, Community engagement, HR, IT and Sport Development are of interest to help round out the capacity and capability of the Board. 

If you are interested in applying for any of the Board positions, please submit your application (cover letter and resume) to Stephanie Chretien Lemyre, Chair of the Nordiq Alberta Board and the Nominations Committee. 

Please submit your application to no later than May 27, 2022.

**The Athlete Representative must currently be, or have been at some point during the  prior five years, an active Canadian cross-country ski racer and license member at the  national level, a current member of a CCA Member Club, and at least 17-years of age as  of December 31 on the year preceding the year of election.
