Tier 3 Events

Are you hosting an event that is open to people from outside your club, and are you charging more than $5/participant? If so, you probably need a Tier 3 event sanction. This is new this year. Luckily, it’s simple and inexpensive, and it ensures the event is insured.

What is a Tier 3 Event? A Tier 3 Events is a competition or event that is neither Tier 1 nor Tier 2, is open to racers or participants who are not members of the host club, and for which more than $5 per participant is collected. Tier 3 Events are sanctioned by the Division. To have your event sanctioned complete the 2023 – 2024 Event Sanctioning Form. Note: For Technical Advisor you can input Ivan Babikov at Nordiq Alberta.
