2023 On-Snow Provincial Open Camp

Nordiq Alberta is proud to host the Tawatinaw On-Snow Provincial Open Camp. This camp is open to the entire province and cross-country ski community. The camp will be held Friday December 1st to Sunday December 3rd.

This provincial camp is open to skiers of all skill levels and all age categories. Whether you are a beginner wanting to improve your skills or a Master looking to refine your technique this camp is for you!

Nordiq Alberta Training Camp Information

Participants have the option to join for the entire weekend or just for Saturday, December 2nd. Please choose your registration option appropriately:

Option 1 - Friday (December 1) to Sunday (December 3)

Registration cost: $240

Includes:

Meals from dinner Friday to lunch Sunday
Accommodation at the Pine Valley Resort for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday night)
Coaching for the weekend from provincial coach (Ivan Babikov) and other guest coaches

Option 2 - Saturday (December 2)

Registration cost: $80

Includes:

Lunch & Dinner on Saturday
Coaching for the weekend from provincial coach (Ivan Babikov) and other guest coaches

A schedule, packing list, and detailed information regarding the camp will be emailed to all registrants closer to the date of the camp.

*NOTE*

Para - Nordic Participants: Nordiq Alberta is able to subsidize up to 100% of registration fees for the Provincial Open Camps. Complete the Para-Nordic Open Camp Subsidy Application Form before you register!

Parents: We encourage parents to join the camp as well! Rather than dropping off your kids, register for the camp and have a family weekend together. Any child under 12 years of age is required to come with an adult to the camp.

Coaches: If you are interested in joining the camp as an assistant coach, please complete the Provincial Coach Experience Form. If you are selected as an assistant coach for the weekend your registration costs will be covered.

Registration: Participants must register online no later than November 16, 2023 at 11:59pm MST.
