Alberta Trail and Grooming Enhancement Grant is OPEN!

With funding provided by the Kananaskis Parking Committee the remaining 2021 - 2022 parking program surplus funds will be disbursed to Nordiq Alberta Clubs and ski sites in Alberta for trail maintenance, infrastructure, and development. Nordiq Alberta is offering a minimum of 10 grants up to $2000. These grants are available to Nordiq Alberta clubs or ski sites in Alberta for the purposes of addressing fairly small, and short term issues or problems that would enable improvements such as:

• improvements to existing ski trails (trail lighting, equipment)
• enhancement to grooming operations including fuel, grooming workshops, tools, and trail grooming reports (e.g. Nordic Pulse)

Grants are available up to $2,000 and clubs or sites are encouraged to use the funds to obtain additional matching funds where possible. Applications will be accepted until all of the grant funds have been distributed.
