

Alberta World Cup/Nordiq Alberta Women’s Coaching & Officiating Course Grant Applications NOW OPEN!
With funding provided by the Alberta World Cup Legacy Fund, the Alberta World Cup and Nordiq Alberta are offering up to 6 grants to subsidize participation by women residents, of the Province of Alberta, in NCCP courses at the L2T level or higher, Official Courses Level 2 or higher or Athletes with Impairments Coaching courses of any level. Three grants of $600 will be offered to individuals (or clubs) for travel outside Alberta to attend a course. Three grants of $400 will be offered to individuals traveling within Alberta to attend a course. Grants will be for courses attended during the 2021/22 season.

Applications will be accepted until midnight on June 30th, 2022.

Please identify your Club location and the location of the NCCP course you would like to attend (or have attended).

In your application, please provide a brief bio, including your current role in the cross-country skiing community, and a short explanation of how you intend to use the knowledge gained at the course (no more than 250 words please).

Successful candidates will be notified within 30 days of receipt of their application.
Recipients will also be asked to provide a brief report to Nordiq Alberta, acknowledging the benefits received from this grant - by the support of both Nordiq Alberta and the AWCS. Acknowledgement via the social media platforms of their club would also be appreciated.
