Remembering Michael Vaughn Dickinson

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Michael Vaughn Dickinson of Edmonton, Alberta announces his passing at the age of 65 years on Monday September 20, 2021 after a short battle with Cancer. He leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Solange, his sons Rodney (Natasha) and Cory (Leanne) and his daughter Trista (Greg). Michael is predeceased by his parents Dale and Joan and is survived by his three sisters Donna Chauvin, Peggy Mayo, and Leslie (Randy) Theriault. He will be fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews from the Maritime Provinces. Mike touched countless lives around him and made an impact that will continue

in the hearts and minds of all who knew him. He adored his family, was an exercise and outdoor enthusiast; loved running, cycling, cross country skiing, skating, camping, and hiking. He loved getaways to Canmore and the Okanagan and tried to get home to the East Coast as often as possible to visit family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. David Chang and the nurses and aides at Covenant Health for the kindness and care shown during his final days.

Cremation has taken place and due to Covid safety measures, a private Celebration of Life will be held on October 2, 2021 at 12:30 pm with a live stream viewing option available on Zoom.
